European 4

European 4-1: This is a basic sheet weave. At any width it makes excelent jewelry, and can be expanded to make even larger items like clothing and art. One of the most versatile weaves.

European 6

European 6-1: Another of the European family of weaves, this is a more dense sheet. It has just as many applications as any other sheet weave. It's density also makes it really silky feeling weave.

Kingsmaille

KingsMaille: This is a nice heavy sheet weave. It is European 4-1 with all the links doubled. This makes it quite dense, and even in very fine links this weave is still weighty. Because of it's weight, it is not the greatest choice for clothing, but it makes amazing jewelry.

Box Chain

Box Chain: In the European family of weaves, this is European 4-1 wrapped on itself, forming a square or rectangular box-shaped rope weave. It makes great loose bracelets and necklaces.

RoundMaille

RoundMaille: This weave is the sister weave to Box Chain, this weave is a circular, almost tube-like rope weave. Even in the finest of links this weave has great substance to itself, and makes wonderful necklaces and bracelets.

Inverted RoundMaille

Inverted RoundMaille: This weave is the inverse of RoundMaille. It looks very skeletal and hollow. An excellent lightweight weave for jewelry.

Captive Inverted RoundMaille

Captive Inverted RoundMaille: A direct relative of Inverted RoundMaille. This weave has a very neat feature, and that is the links inside each unit are free floating, captured in place by the tension of the rings around them.

Byzantine

Byzantine: Easily the most diverse of the rope weaves, with dozens of variatons, and hundreds of combinations. This weave is easily the most popular offered by SteelWeaver.

Trizantine

Trizantine: Closely related to Byzantine, this weave has a few extra links to add to it's complexity and depth. A lovely rope weave for bracelets and necklaces.

Turkish RoundMaille

Turkish RoundMaille: Also closely related to Byzantine, with one extra dimension to it, making for a thicker tube-like rope weave.

Byzantine Bar

Byzantine Bar: Another Byzantine variant, this takes the rope version, turns it on it's side, and connects the units in a sheet, or bar weave. This makes excellent bracelets and chokers.

Hoodoo

Hoodoo: This weave is similar in function to Byzantine Bar. It is only really functional as a thicker style weave. It's much newer than other weaves, and has a LOT of potential when it comes to variation on colour and metal.

Helix

Helix: This rope weave is in a field of it's own, forming a spiral, much akin to a helix. This weave is nice and light, and it's spiral appearance reflects light beautifully.

JPL

JPL: This is a unique weave, in that it can be made from very thick wire, while still being very thin overall. It's a sister weave to Helix, with elements of spiraling, only it doesn't tneed to be reset every time you take it off. It's an excellent weave to use for finer bracelets, or necklaces with various pendants or focal centrepieces.

Barrel

Barrel: This weave forms little bundles of sparkle that look like little barrels, hence the name. Replace some of the links with colour to add that certain something.

DragonScale

DragonScale: This sheet weave is used for many applications, but is most commmonly seen in bracelets, necklaces, and chokers. It has the unique property of being 2 different ring sizes in one piece. Either set of links can be made of an alternate colour to add a wonderful level of depth.

Elfsheet

Elven Sheet: This weave is a fairly substantial item. It makes excellent finger rings and bracelets, and is nice and wide even in quite fine links. With a unique wavy pattern to the look, this weave is definitely a looker.

Helm Chain

Helm Chain: This weave is a nice rope weave, using 2 different sized links. It sits flat, and is a rope style variant of DragonScale.

StarBurst

StarBurst: This sheet weave is from the Oriental family of weaves, most of which use multiple ring sizes. It lays nice and flat, and there are a nearly infinite combination of metals you can use to achieve different looks. StarBurst is the most intricate of the Oriental style weaves.

Oriental 2-1

Simple Oriental: This is a rope version, loosely related to the Oriental family of weaves. It is simple 2-1 chain, used often as a simple alternative for attaching pendants, rather than bulk premade chains.

Two Squared

Two Squared: Another simplistic chain, for those wanting an alternative to more detailed chains, or used to connect portions of other weaves.

Queen's Braid

Queen's Braid: The most basic of the Persian family of weave, this rope style weave has the unique feature of being concave on one side, and convex on the other. This allows for 2 completely different looks in the same piece. Makes wonderful bracelets!

Jester's Braid

Jester's Braid: An immediate relative to Queen's Braid, this version lays completely flat. It makes excellent bracelets or chokers.

King's Braid

King's Braid: Another of the Persian family, this is a tube shaped rope weave, that flows beautifully.

GSG

GSG: A sheet variant of Queen's Braid, which lays completely flat on both sides. It makes nice wide bracelets and chokers.

Viperscale

Viper: Another Persian family weave, akin to GSG. This weave is unique in that it will slither sideways quite readily. It is a unique cross between a rope and a flat style of weave, with plenty of potential for necklaces, bracelets, and even rings!
